As your local Realtor, I am proud to be affiliated with Royal LePage Canada and Royal LePage Estate Realty.  When searching for the real estate company I wanted to be associated with I sought out a company that was a natural fit for my personal values and beliefs.  I sought a company that not only offered the quality of service and care that is so important to me and my business, but also one that understood the importance of giving back to the community we live in and serve.

The Royal LePage motto "helping you is what we do" speaks to me on a very personal level.  As your Realtor, I take great pride in delivering exceptional service and results that go beyond the purchase and sale of your home, to being an on-going resource and support with respect to your community and home ownership.  Further as someone who worked in the not-for-profit world for many years I have experienced first hand the essential role and impact that charities play in building strong communities.  As a realtor I understand the unbreakable link between a strong healthy community and a strong healthy real estate market.  So giving back is not only the right thing to do as a person and citizen, it's a good investment all around.

I am proud to support the following charities as my way of giving back.

Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

A portion of the professional fees on the purchase and sale of every property I sell and or help someone buy is donated to this extraordinary foundation.  With Royal LePage paying all of the administration costs, 100% of all funds raised goes directly to support Women's Shelters and Violence and Abuse Education and Prevention Programs.  By selecting me as your Realtor we are able to help bring hope and shelter to those who need it most.  Click here for more information on this very important Foundation.

Child and Youth Advocacy has been central to my life since I was a young adult working for the YMCA-YWCA in Ottawa and later as Manager of the HIGH FIVE program here in Toronto.  When I became a Realtor it was important that I maintain some involvement in supporting the well being of children and youth in our community.  To this end I have now served four years on the board of directors for the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club and currently am serving my second year as President of the Board. One of our most important initiatives at the moment is a multi-million dollar re-development of our Spruce St. site in Cabbage town that serves the children and youth of Regent Park.

I have always been a strong supporter of the United Way making annual donations to their campaign.  I have operated programs that would not have been possible without this essential community funder, and seen first hand the benefits of the "united way".

Recognizing the interdependent nature of our world and the incredible privilege we have living in the West we sponsor a child in Africa through Plan Canada because we can make a difference one child at a time

The Hamper Program

Each year we provide a Christmas for a family that otherwise would have nothing.  Organized by the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club this extraordinary program matches donors with families who are able to complete a personal wish list.  Donors can then shop for the child and parent(s) based on this wish list to ensure the families Christmas wish comes true.  Our first year it was a sobering experience as "mom" asked for laundry detergent and cleaning supplies for herself, not quite what most moms would hope to open on Christmas morning.
